With a great deal of inspiration from old spaghetti western and 60's California surf music, the dark, wet, smoky sound of Stranded mermaid was born.

Stranded mermaid is the mystifying brainchild of a girl with an unhealthy obsession for composer Ennio Morricone. The debut album "Dark, Downbeat, Film noir" was produced in the cold and dark forests of Växjö, Sweden 2012
