For Nat & Poul... Only two things in life are certain; death and taxes. Here 1. The Beatles - Taxman, talks about the more annoying of these things, whilst 2. Maximo Park - Postcard of a Painting comments about another (almost) certain element of life, frustrating love concerns, as does 3. Led Zeppelin - Living Loving Maid.
Into the late 1990s and debate is raging over who is the best UK band. Here 4. Oasis - The Masterplan put their opinion forward, whilst 5. Blur - There's No Other Way demonstrates why they were better... 6. The Rolling Stones - Mother's Little Helper shows that Mr Jagger and Co. were capable of social commentary, whilst 7. The Libertines - Don't Look Back into the Sun is the complete opposite - a feelgood no brainer, whilst 8. The Who - My Generation returns to the theme.
9. David Bowie - Life on Mars - cracking song from the White Duke, though when he went to the next artist's first gig in New York, he wasn't recognised and was thrown out of the VIP section. 10. The Arctic Monkeys - From the Ritz to the Rubble's title could explain how Mr Bowie felt that night and is one of the best songs from their record selling first album
11. The Young Knives - She's Attracted To a very humorous look on how a first meeting with the in-laws coul go very very wrong 12. Bloc Party - Banquet hopefully will make you agree with 13. Muse - Feeling Good and not put you in the uncertain position of 14. The Clash - Should I Stay or Should I Go. Why not stay and enjoy 15. The Futureheads - Decent Days & Nights and then get your air guitar at the ready for 16. T-Rex - 20th Century Boy before mellowing to 17. Supergrass - Moving undoubdly one of Britain's best bands of our generation.
Picking up the pace we have 18. The Jam - Town Called Malice early 80's hit guaranted to make you boogie, whilst 19. The Smith - This Charming Man cant fail to do likewise 20. The Undertones - Teenage Kicks - a cornerstone of British music that made the legendary DJ John Peel (RIP) cry when he heard it, and finishing off with 21. The Kinks - Lola what more can I say? Enjoy!
Nedenstående spillelister indeholder desværre ikke original indspilningen af Beatles, eftersom de stadig ikke forefindes på Spotify.
